HOW WE MADE OUR KRATOM ?

This is the complete step process and gallery of how we produce our Kratom, start from harvesting the fresh leaves, until it become a high quality powder.

JONGKONG, WEST BORNEO

Our kratom forest is in a village called Jongkong on the island of West Kalimantan. To get to Jongkong, it takes about 12 hours by road from Pontianak, the capital of West Kalimantan. After arriving at Jongkong village, to go to the Kratom forest, you must use a speedboat down the Kapuas River with a travel time of about 30 minutes.

HARVESTING FRESH
KRATOM LEAVES

Our farmers will harvest fresh kratom leaves in the morning. Our farmers are very experienced with only harvesting old kratom leaves and harvesting from trees that are more than 5 years old so that we can produce kratom powder with high quality. After harvesting, our farmers will wait at least 3 months to be able to harvest kratom leaves from the same tree.

CLEANING THE FRESH LEAVES

The next process is to wash the fresh kratom leaves with clean water. The harvested kratom leaves will be transported by speedboat to our indoor drying facility. Before drying, the kratom leaves will be washed using clean water, once the kratom leaves are clean, the leaves will be placed on the drying rack immediately. In the drying process, the kratom leaves will be rotated back and forth until they dry evenly. The drying time is about 1-2 days depending on what type of strains will be made.

CRUSHING THE LEAVES INTO KRATOM CRUMB

Once the kratom leaves are dry, then our farmers will crush and the Kratom leaves so that they become Kratom crumbs. After becoming Kratom crumbs, our farmers will separate the stems and veins of the leaves from the crumbs so that when the crumbs are grinding into Kratom powder it will produce a very vibrant color.

TO POWDER

The next process is to pack Kratom crumbs into large plastic and send Kratom crumbs from Jongkong to Pontianak using land routes. After the crumbs arrive at our warehouse, the crumbs will be taken to the milling warehouse to be processed into a Kratom Powder, we use nano and micro (depends on customers order) stainless steel milling machines with food grade and GMP standard.

FILTERING KRATOM POWDER

At Next Botanicals, after becoming a Kratom powder we directly filter the Kratom powder to separate the leaf fiber fibers that are still left in the Kratom powder, after filtering the Kratom powder will be very smooth and clean of the leaf fiber fibers that are not grinded. Most other vendors don't do this so their Kratom powder isn't as smooth and clean as our Kratom powder

MIXING KRATOM POWDER

Unlike other vendors who directly packing their Kratom. Next Botanicals will divide our Kratom powder into batches. Then we will mix each batch so that each batch will have the same Mitragynine levels and have the same consistency. We use stainless steel mixing machine with Foodgrade and GMP standard. Unlike other vendors who don't mix their Kratom so each bag has different levels of Mitragynine and each bag doesn't have consistent potency. We also use this machine to make strain blends based on customers orders.

PACKING KRATOM POWDER

After we mix the powder per batch, then we do a laboratory test for Mitragynine content, our standard Mitragynine content is at least 1.4% for green and white strains, after the lab results come out and according to our minimum Mitragynine content standard, we also do laboratory test for Bacteria and Heavy Metals and then we pack the Kratom powder according to the customers order, we accept packaging with 1 KG single vacuum packaging or 25 KG packaging.

GAMMA IRRADIATION
PROCESS

After the kratom is finished packed, then the shipping agent company will pick up the kratom package and then it will be sent to Jakarta. Before being sent to the customer, the kratom package will go through the GAMMA IRRADIATION process to eliminating all bacteria and fungi in the kratom powder. Kratom packages that have gone through the GAMMA IRRADIATION process can be ensured to be clean and safe from bacteria. After the gamma process, then the package will be sent to the customer using air cargo or sea cargo.
